I was tempted to just post "FOOL" and let it go at that, but i'll make an effort to be nice. Don't lose sight of reality. There are three problems with the economy and therefore the markets (but they are not entirely unrelated). The market may be reaching a bottom with regard to one of these problems, i.e., weakness in the financial sector. The weakness will continue a long time but Financial stocks may be nearing a bottom. But there are two more problems that are only getting worse. The first is the worst real estate sector/housing/building bust of any of our lifetimes. That's going to absolutely crush the economy, and it is only getting started. It's going to take years to recover from this. And finally, and perhaps worst of all, the weak dollar brought on by fiscal irresponsibility, and the consequent political expediancy of monetizing the debt. That problem may be summarized as due to the vacuum between the President's ears and is symbolized best perhaps by his desire to build missile bases in Poland! This is a problem that seems to get worse by the day.
The belief around here and that bull and bear markets begin and end every three days is frickin hilarious. Oil drops, so the world is saved, jobs will fall from the sky, gas will be $2/gallon by the weekend, and home sales will rise 20% by year end. unless of course reality befalls the market and folks realize that nothing changes over night and the struggles that began by the end of 2006 aren't over and the market took forever to actually account for their existence. So when the turn around actually begins, the chances that the market will actually go up in accordance are slim and none because of the fear of the same idiots who were afraid to sell in 2007 for losing out on more profits.
Oh come now, everyone makes money on ET. There are billion dollar traders here who command much larger sums. Who fabricates anything on this site? If there was any fabrication or false posts, then I'll have to go back and rethink my entire thought process on elitetrader.
Are you trying to impress us? Your market view doesn't justify your balance sheet. A few days rally isn't enough to confirm a bull.
Take a look at the EXIF data for those 2 images, it will tell you the real truth about this poster =P. In particular take a look at program history not the edit history.
