  1. California is the worst...

California has 12% of the country's population and 32% of the nation's welfare cases.

Too bad gerbil-brained liberals can't use the usual excuse, the military is the cause of all fiscal problems. Maybe I shouldn't say it before someone finds a way to blame the Illinois nat'l guard.

Leftist economics is such a complete failure in the last 100 years that you have to wonder if there will ever be an epiphany. Human nature says people will keep trying, just like losing traders. The idea of a government run liberal utopia is religion and it will never die.

  4. The highest grossing restaurant in the US was tavern on the green in nyc. Somehow or another the city just let that dissolve into nothing but a bunch of food carts.

I'm not exactly sure what business our country is engaged in anymore these days.

Creating jobs was pretty clear cut back in the day. Now if you want to build something, you need a heads up on mud puddles and bugs. Then, we have the strictest building codes in the world and you know what? We build building that may be designed to last but no one wants. Strip malls, box stores, real architectural pos.

The premise for all liberal expansion is debt. Remove the ability to finance debt (or greatly inhibit it) and the math then becomes the issue. Liberals hate math, because it always shows them the limit of their ability to spend. Without spending, they have no control, as it is money alone that allows them to buy their philosophy.
