    No, the Fed wants people to lose jobs, so they have less money to spend in the economy. He wants to kill the jobs market, so people stop buying stuff.

    No that's not what the Feds wants. The Feds wants people to save money, to put more money in the bank instead of spending them. In the meantime, if people still need more money to spend, they need to go out to work to earn the money. You still need a robust job market to have a healthy economy. The Feds does not want to necessarily kill the job market; it's just that when the monetary policy is too tight it tends to suppress the long-term investment by corporations causing the job market to shrink as an unfortunate side-effect but that's not the Feds' intention or goal. It's the government's job to work with the Feds to mobilize people to go out to work to increase productivity so the interest rate won't have to rise too much in order to get inflation down but we know the competence level of the current government.

    Right.

    When the market moves in a choppy messy spiky manner, it is hard to day trade

    Cramer has recently said something like: if you own stocks, FED is your enemy...
    and don't be a hero now (to go long).

    Good advice;
    make hay while the sun shines:caution::caution:
    It may not be as fun or profitable as trend day; but the risk reward is actually much better.
    The nice clothes we haven't worn in the past 12 months+/ give them to Goodwill or Hope Ministries . Some use a an IRS formulae on the value.
    Unusually good risk reward + better than chump change:D:D
