One more attempt to obstruct the Arizona ballot audit which is still in process. These Maricopa officials should be investigated by the FBI and DOJ for their election activities on November 3, 2020. What are they hiding? If it was fair and nothing to see there, they should facilitate and not countinue obstructing the ballot audit and they are wasting US tax dollars in the process. https://www.yahoo.com/news/maricopa-county-tells-arizona-senators-232600260.html

Republican Arizona official says GOP legislator admitted there was 'nothing to' election fraud allegations https://theweek.com/conspiracy-theo...-gop-legislator-admitted-there-was-nothing-to Karen Fann, the Arizona state Senate president and a Republican, has supported the state legislature's "forensic audit" of the 2020 presidential vote in Maricopa County, which was won by President Biden. Fann said earlier this month that the audit is "not about" former President Donald Trump, who continues to baselessly claim that widespread voter fraud — especially in states like Arizona and Georgia — cost him the election. "This is not about overturning the election," Fann added. "This has never been about anything other than election integrity." But a Republican member of the Maricopa Board of Supervisers named Bill Gates (no, not that Bill Gates) told The New Yorker's Jane Mayer that Fann had previously confided in him that she knew there was "nothing to" the fraud allegations. Mayer writes that Fann then ultimately "buckled under the political pressure and authorized a subpoena of the county's ballots." Fann did not respond to Mayer's request comment. Trump moved donated money to his own business, filing shows Donald Trump moved more than $200,00 donated to his Make America Great Again PAC into his own private business accounts, according to an analysis of his federal filings. The money was moved in February, a month after Mr Trump left office. Money donated to PACs is meant to be spent solely on campaign efforts. Forbes reports that the former president also set up a “leadership PAC”, which is generally used to support other candidates. Mr Trump took $30m from his Make America Great Again PAC and moved it to the new PAC, called Save America. That PAC eventually grew to $90m, and Mr Trump took an additional $79,000 out of that PAC for his own uses. Mr Trump's business, the Trump Organization, regularly interacted with his campaign PACs. In one instance, the Trump Organization charged his campaign PAC $38,000 in rent via the Trump Tower Commercial LLC, in which Mr Trump has 100 per cent interest. During 2016, Mr Trump ran his campaign out of the skyscraper, but his 2020 campaign was partially run from Washington DC. Despite this, the Trump Organisation continued to collect rent for Trump Tower. In total, the Trump Organization collected $188,000 in rent between January and June, all paid for through Trump's campaign donations. Trump Restaurants LLC also collected rent from the PAC – even after the former president left office and during a time when tourists visiting Trump Tower were few due to the coronavirus pandemic – totalling $15,000, according to federal filings. Save America, the leadership PAC, paid the Trump Hotel Collection $79,000 in total after Mr Trump left office, according to the White House. Those expenses were largely for lodging and meals. The Trump Organization did not comment on the self-dealing payments, but the former president did issue a statement boasting that his affiliated committees have approximately $100m of cash ready for use. “These fundraising numbers, coupled with tremendous support in so many other ways, show that President Trump’s supporters want him to continue the fight,” the statement said. Mr Trump has not yet committed to running another presidential campaign in 2024, though insiders have claimed he has told his dinner guests that he will once again compete for the Oval Office. In the meantime, the Trump Organization is at the centre of an investigation by the Manhattan DA's office into alleged financial crimes.
Yet another bogus claim made by Trump-backed Arizona 'auditors' just went down in flames https://www.rawstory.com/arizona-audit-update-2654424900/ One of the more eye-opening claims made by Doug Logan, the leader of the Arizona election review team, is that there were more than 74,000 "phantom" mail-in ballots that were counted even though there was supposedly "no record of them being sent." However, the Arizona Mirror took a look at Logan's claim and found it to be egregiously false -- and they proved it by using the exact same records that Logan cited as proof of supposed widespread fraud. The issue appears to be that many of the counted ballots that Logan cited were not actually mailed in -- rather, they were cast by people who voted early at in-person voting sites. "ABC15 and the Arizona Mirror examined the same records that Logan has, and found 74,241 people who are listed as voting by early ballot but aren't on the EV32 reports," the paper writes. "Of those voters, 74,238 appear in the master file of general election voters. More than 99.4% of those people — 73,819, to be exact — voted in-person at early voting centers." The Mirror concludes that Logan could only have made such an egregiously false claim through either profound incompetence or rank dishonesty. " Logan, who is in charge of a team tasked with determining whether there were problems with the 2020 general election in Maricopa County, either didn't take the basic step of checking the names against the master list of voters or knowingly told... the world something that was untrue," the paper writes. Arizona Republicans discovered what the national GOP did — there's no safe way out of Trump world https://www.rawstory.com/arizona-republican-audit-troubles/ Many Arizona Republicans have made it clear they want nothing to do with the audit from the Senate GOP. But as one Washington Post columnist explained, they've gone so far down the rabbit hole, and there's no real way for them to climb out anymore. Writing Tuesday, Philip Bump cited the New Yorker's Jane Mayer, who reported that conservative groups had been working on the so-called "election audit" idea before the election was even held. But he keyed into a "startling and important discovery" in her piece when she points to a county official named Bill Gates. He's not the Microsoft Bill Gates. "Gates says that Karen Fann, the Arizona Senate's president, confided to him that she knew there was 'nothing to' the fraud charges," Bump said, citing the Mayer report. Fann wouldn't respond to questions about the conversation. "Nevertheless, she buckled under the political pressure and authorized a subpoena of the county's ballots, for the 'forensic audit.'" Bump said that it's entirely possible that Fann told Gates she didn't think fraud happened but wanted to "grease the wheels" for the effort. "But it's more likely that Fann, a member of Arizona's legislature for more than a decade, actually recognized that nothing untoward happened," Bump continued. "After all, Arizona had been trending more blue since 2004, in part thanks to its evolving demographics. That the result in 2020 was close was a continuation of that trend; in fact, the shift to the left from 2016 to 2020 was smaller than the shift from 2012 to 2016. Fann herself was elected in a district that includes parts of Maricopa. One assumes she feels pretty confident about those particular results." Even if she did believe that there was no fraud, she's got two options, he explained. Either she can keep going with the audit and election fraud claims or she can throw up her hands and make a deal that she showed her Trump loyalty. The problem, Bump explained, is that they have all double, triple, and quadrupled down on the conspiracy. There's no real respectable off-ramp for them anymore. "Fann, as president of the Republicans in the Arizona Senate, would have been hard-pressed to stay quiet, so she chose to play along. Again, maybe she was lying to Gates, but it's safe to assume that she wasn't. She had little political choice but to go along with the 'review,'" said Bump. It's the same situation that Republicans are in at the national level. They've gone so far down the road with Donald Trump that there's no real way to divorce themselves from him. They've been given every opportunity to abandon him, but each time they came crawling back. Republicans know how to navigate that path, Bump explained. The path without Trump is a "minefield." "Whenever there's a discussion of the review in Arizona, the same conclusion emerges: Everyone knows where it is headed, but no one really knows what happens then," he closed. "For the review itself, in other words, there's no off-ramp, just this big, rickety truck rumbling forward with dashboard warning lights going unheeded. The time when this could have been averted came months ago, before the vehicle started moving. But even then, Fann and other Republicans were not offered any easy choice other than to step on the accelerator." Read the full column at the Washington Post.
More obstruction with the assistance of an extreme liberal judge. The Arizona audit is still in process and findings not out yet, they continue to harass everyone involved in the audit? Why? What are they hiding? The Arizona Senate should appeal the decision to Arizona's Supreme Court and US Supreme Court if needed as the scalawags are thrashing like fish out of water. They probably, have something to hide which is why the non-stop harassment going on. https://www.yahoo.com/news/judge-orders-arizona-senate-produce-211200536.html
