I'm glad someone else caught that type of consistent language. It's something my grandmother would say (marxist), if she were still alive today, about the hippie generation. In fact, she would jokingly use that tone with my mother just before she would jet off someplace for a photography assignment... Many of which covering political protests towards in North America and Europe towards the end of the Vietnam War. People born after those days would use the phrase socialist...as seen typically in political debates. My grandfather, whom served in World War II...if he were alive today would correct us and say it's Marxist–Leninists...not Marxists. The problem is that Marxist–Leninists (Marxists) did not support Liberal Democracy but they did support Socialist Democracy. Another problem, they wanted to replace Capitalism.
