You are absolutely wrong about this. Any action by a state which violates people's rights, federal law or the U.S Constitution is met with quick action from the U.S. Justice Department. You should take a look at the U.S. DOJ taking action against states during the Civil Rights era for clear examples of this oversight.

Non existent civil rights violations. It's just an attempt to get the audit stopped and it's disgusting. DOJ has no authority to intercede in this. Voting and how it's done and counted and audited is the purview per The Constitution of the states.
These same folks want every stone un-turned in the Breonna Taylor case and do not want rioters arrested in Portland and Seattle. However, they do want unarmed trespassers at The Capitol put in jail for decades. See a pattern?
