Let's take a look at the latest from the Arizona "fraudit" Cyber Ninja circus...

Arizona Senate, Which Hired Cyber Ninjas, Now Desperately Seeking Its Election Records
Cyber Ninjas has shut its doors, but court is still demanding hidden public records in "fraudit" over Donald Trump's election loss.

Arizona’s Republican State Senate, which hired the discredited Cyber Ninjas company to carry out a vote audit of Maricopa County, is now desperately seeking the company’s hidden public records to comply with a court order.

Senate Republicans recently discovered the Ninjas leased a mysterious “data center,” and have sent a two-sentence letter to the company and others involved in the botched audit, asking if public records are stored there, The Arizona Republic reported.

“We recently learned that a data center, possibly leased to Cyber Ninjas ... may be housing records concerning the Arizona State Senate’s audit of the 2020 election in Maricopa County,” Arizona Senate President Karen Fann wrote in the letter sent Thursday.

“Please confirm as soon as possible whether this information is correct and, if so, when and on what terms the Senate may access the facility or its resources.”

As of Sunday, no response was reported.

The Cyber Ninjas shut down and fired all personnel early this month. The company was facing $50,000 daily fines beginning Jan. 6 until it turned over public records it collected as part of the audit. The records have yet to be provided.

Fann told the Republic she has no idea where the data center is located.

“There’s not a lot I can say,” she said. “I received info that possible records were stored in a data center.”

The newspaper and nonprofit watchdog group American Oversight sued to make the records public.

Last week, an Arizona judge ordered Cyber Ninjas and CEO Doug Logan to answer questions under oath from American Oversight regarding the company’s failure to turn over documents.

“As much as he might like to walk away from the dumpster fire he helped create, Doug Logan is not above the law. We look forward to deposing him on the 27th, and if it takes an arrest warrant to ensure the public gets the full story of the ‘audit,’ then so be it,” American Oversight senior adviser Melanie Sloan said in a statement made available to HuffPost.

State Senate Republicans hired the Ninjas in a doomed attempt to challenge Joe Biden’s presidential victory.

Cyber Ninjas, which had no election experience before conducting the audit, actually confirmed Biden’s victory in Maricopa County some seven months after the recount began. It did, however, raise challenging questions about the election, which were dismissed out of hand, even by a number of Republicans.

County election officials released a scathing report earlier this month rebutting almost every claim in the vote review. It concluded that nearly 80 claims made by Cyber Ninjas were misleading or false.

The operation, funded by right-wing extremists, was headed by Doug Logan, a QAnon conspiracy acolyte, who predicted months before the audit even began that “hundreds of thousands of votes” would inevitably be found for Donald Trump.

The audit effort was a fiasco from the start. Auditors were equipped with blue pens, which can be used to alter ballots, and sought traces of bamboo in ballots, which they supposed would be proof of Chinese interference. In addition, truckloads of voter data were spirited away to a cabin in Montana, 1,300 miles from where votes were cast, allegedly for “special” examination.

The Arizona vote was certified Nov. 30, 2020, by Republican Gov. Doug Ducey after several official recounts failed to find any irregularities. Biden beat Trump by 10,457 votes in the state. He edged out Trump by more than 2 percentage points ― about 45,000 votes ― in Maricopa County.

Let's take a look at what the Republican idiots in the Arizona legislature are up to. If Arizona House Bill 2596 passes you would only be able to vote on election day, your vote would be counted by hand, and the Legislature would pick electors of their liking if they don't like the way you vote.

Arizona bill would let state lawmakers reject election results

Looks like Arizona will not be getting any of the Cyber Ninjas fraudit records...

Cyber Ninjas CEO says he won't turn over records from election 'audit' in 'contentious' deposition: report
    https://www.rawstory.com/cyber-ninjas-deposition/

On Friday, The Arizona Republic reported that Doug Logan, the CEO of the Florida-based security firm Cyber Ninjas, refused to turn over records from his company's GOP-backed partisan "audit" of ballots in Maricopa County during a deposition this week.

"Logan answered questions during a contentious deposition with attorneys for The Arizona Republic and American Oversight," reported Ryan Randazzo. "The news organization and the left-leaning nonprofithave battled in court for months for the release of texts, emails and other documents related to the ballot recount and related investigations of the 2020 election ordered by Republicans in the Arizona Senate."

Cyber Ninjas' election investigation, which was ordered by the GOP-controlled Arizona Senate and partially taxpayer funded, pursued a number of wild conspiracy theories, including searching for bamboo fibers in ballots to try to prove they were Asian forgeries, and demanded access to public equipment that police warned could compromise law enforcement. Even some Trump supporters, like local talk radio host Mike Broomhead, went on to pan the audit as a "clown show."

"Logan said Hannah's November order to the company to turn over records was the result of a 'biased judge,' according to [Arizona Republic attorney Craig] Hoffman," continued the report. "Logan went on 'long soliloquies' during the deposition on how he did not believe his company was obligated to turn over records because they should not be public, Hoffman said."

This comes as Cyber Ninjas announces it is shutting down and laying off all its workers — citing, in large part, the $50,000 a day contempt of court fine for refusing to turn over the documents at issue in the dispute.

"Logan's lawyer has said he is the 'former' CEO of Cyber Ninjas, but a document his lawyers sent the Senate this week still describes him as president of the board of the company," said the report. "Logan testified that money coming in from the sale of Cyber Ninjas’ assets has been used to pay its subcontractors, not set aside for paying for a review of its audit-related documents. Cyber Ninjas’ emails and Microsoft Teams messages are backed up on a server, and Logan said he is committed to pay to maintain that server even as Cyber Ninjas winds down, Hoffman said."

Ultimately, the audit did not come up with evidence to support former President Donald Trump's claims the election was stolen — and actually purported to find more ballots for President Joe Biden that had not been counted.

So they arrested a 10th person for voting fraud in connection with the 2020 election. So far it has been a solid streak of GOPers. What the probability that number 10 is a GOPer. Seems pretty good.

Let's see what's going on with the Arizona GOP seditionists...

Jan. 6 Committee Subpoenas Arizona GOP Chair And Her Husband’s Phone Records
    https://talkingpointsmemo.com/news/...ubpoenas-arizona-gop-chair-ward-phone-records

The Jan. 6 committee subpoenaed the phone records of Arizona GOP chair Kelli Ward and her husband, Michael Ward, both of whom falsely claimed in documents that they were among the battleground state’s presidential electors in 2020.

On Tuesday, the Wards sued the committee in federal court in Arizona in an effort to block their phone provider, T-Mobile, from sharing records with the panel.

The Wards’ lawsuit has been assigned to U.S. District Court Judge Susan Brnovich, the wife of Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich, an ally of former President Donald Trump who is running for Senate, according to Politico.

The Wards’ complaint indicates that the committee subpoenaed their phone records, in addition too their company Mole Medical Services P.C, from their provider T-Mobile last month. T-Mobile said it would turn over the Wards’ records by Feb. 4, barring the Wards filing suit.

The committee seeks the Wards’ phone records from Nov. 1, 2020, through Jan. 31, 2021.

A source familiar with the planning of the lawsuit told Politico that a lawyer for the Wards indicated that the Arizona state GOP was likely to foot legal fees for the litigants.

In their complaint, the Wards argue that the subpoenaed violate patient-physician privilege — both of them are osteopathic doctors who use their phones to speak with patients. Additionally, they argued that the subpoena violates their First and Fourth Amendment rights.

“Disclosing the phone records and metadata from the Phone Number would provide the [personal health information] of an unknown but quantifiable number of individuals seeking medical treatment from the Plaintiffs to the Committee and potentially to the public at large,” the Wards’ attorneys wrote in the complaint.

Ward was among the top GOP officials who pushed former President Trump’s bogus claims of election fraud and sought to influence the ballot-counting process.

“We need you to stop the counting,” Ward wrote to Maricopa County Supervisor Clint Hickman (R) just a few days after Election Day, in one of several attempts to influence Hickman and several other members of the county’s Republican-dominated Board of Supervisors, according to the Arizona Republic in July.

The Republic also reported on attempts by Ward to connect several commissioners to Sidney Powell, the pro-Trump lawyer who spread conspiracy theories about the 2020 vote and is being sued by Doming Voting Systems.

Additionally, Ward gleefully touted in December 2020 that Trump called her for an “update” on her party’s efforts to challenge the state’s election results. The presidential call came a day after Arizona’s Supreme Court swatted down her challenge to void then-President-elect Joe Biden’s win.

The Wards were designated to be pro-Trump electors if the former president had won Arizona. They joined a lawsuit against then-Vice President Mike Pence in late December 2020 in an attempt to pressure him to not certify Biden’s electoral victory on Jan. 6, 2021.

Let's see what happens to Republicans in Arizona who don't support the dis-proven "election fraud" claims.

Arizona Republican Says His Daughter Got Text Calling Him 'N-Word' RINO
State Rep. Walter Blackman said he's the target of a smear campaign by right-wing media for not wanting to overturn the 2020 presidential election.

A Republican state legislator from Arizona said he and his family members are the victims of a racist smear campaign driven by right-wing media after he pushed back against claims that state lawmakers could “decertify” the 2020 presidential election.

Walter Blackman, the first Black Republican elected to the Arizona legislature and a 2022 congressional candidate, claims that after an interview in which he poured cold water on the idea that lawmakers could overturn the election, his daughter received a text message calling him a racial slur.

“Your [N-word] dad is RINO,” the text read, referring to the acronym for “Republican in Name Only.”

The text came last month after a far-right site, The Gateway Pundit, reported that Blackman said it would be impossible to decertify an election, an idea that’s been floated in the Arizona legislature.
After Blackman’s wife on Facebook appeared to blame the Gateway Pundit piece for emboldening whoever sent the text, the reporter posted a video purporting to show him dialing the number it came from and getting Blackman’s voicemail.

Blackman’s congressional campaign shared a video Monday that showed the number was disconnected and could not access Blackman’s voicemail.

The campaign didn’t respond to HuffPost’s request for comment but in a statement said that police are investigating the incident. It didn’t offer any specifics about who might have sent the text message.

“It is illogical and crazy to think I would send this vile text message to my daughter or know anything about it. I have been in contact with the state police who are investigating the origin of these messages. While their investigation is ongoing, they have determined that the text messages did not in any way, shape or form originate with my cell phone. This is what happens when your opponents can’t run a campaign on the issues, they resort to disgusting smear attacks with a word that has no place in our Republican Party or society in general,” Blackman said.

Even after a Republican-backed audit failed to turn up evidence that Joe Biden’s presidential win in 2020 was compromised ― and, in fact, showed a gain in votes for Donald Trump’s Democratic rival ― GOP lawmakers are still looking for excuses to overturn the presidential results in the state election. On Monday, Arizona state Rep. Mark Finchem (Trump’s endorsed candidate for secretary of state) introduced a resolution seeking to decertify the results in Maricopa, Pima and Yuma counties — more than a year after the presidential election and following numerous fruitless attempts at digging up evidence that a massive voter fraud scheme cost Trump the presidency.

Trump’s most fervent supporters are still holding out hope that not only will he run again in 2024 but that he can return to power.

Blackman is running in the GOP primary for Arizona’s 2nd Congressional District, the northeast corner of the state. The seat is held by Democrat Tom O’Halleran but leans Republican. It became even more red after this year’s redistricting, spurring a competitive GOP primary.

Loyalty to Trump and his election lies is a defining issue in Arizona’s races this cycle, from U.S. Senate and secretary of state posts to down-ballot races like Blackman’s.

Blackman’s opponent, former Navy SEAL and business owner Eli Crane, posted a link to the Gateway Pundit story being covered by One America News Network, Trump’s preferred news station. “You just can’t make this stuff up,” he wrote.
