  2. The one time Obama did apologize, it was with good reason: the U.S. military had accidentally burned Qurans in Afghanistan, igniting protests. Even then, right wingers failed to see anything at issue but a display of American weakness. ”

    Just in case you really feel that we should allow a handful of foolish Americans put our entire Military in harm's way, thought you might like to read the above.

  4. WE put our military in harm's way, it is their fucking job. you should know you served right?

    your little statement above is your opinion and is wrong. The statement in the OP is an apology. There were muslims parading around times square not so long ago holding signs like 'the real holocaust is coming' and 'death to Israel' do you think that offends Jews? hindus hold cows sacred and it is illegal in most of india to slaughter them but that doesn't stop us from eating cheeseburgers here does it, do you think that offends Hindu's? Christians get offended by people saying God doesn't exist but they can't stop anyone from saying it can they? In all of these instances and the many more I didn't think of off the top of my head, no one is getting killed for offending other people. If they were to be attacked or killed, the attackers are punished, not apologized to. it is Libya that owes the US and the families of those murdered an apology and justice as well.

    Us 'condemning' the film makers when it is the muslims who reacted with blind violence is a default apology and it IS weakness.

    The Great Obama Apology Tour.

    <img src="http://americans4positivechange.com/admin/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/obama_bow-300x237.jpg">

    While on his international tour during the first one hundred days of President Obama’s presidency he apologized for what he viewed “as the sins of America and his predecessors.” In France Obama said that America “has shown arrogance and been dismissive, even derisive toward Europe.” In Prague, Obama said that America has “a moral responsibility to act” on arms control because only the U.S. had “used a nuclear weapon.” And in Latin America, Obama said the U.S. had not “pursued and sustained engagement with our neighbors” because we “failed to see that our own progress is tied directly to progress throughout the Americas.” [1]

    Then White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs defended Obama’s apologies. Gibbs said that Obama has “changes the images of America around the world” and made the U.S. “safer and stronger.” Mr. Gibbs gives evidence to this by pointing to the absence of protestors during the Summit of the America. [3] Really? Can anyone say that Obama has made America stronger or more respected?

    While in Europe Obama was asked if he believes in American exceptionalism. He said he did-in the same way that “the Brits believe in British exceptionalism and the Greeks in Greek exceptionalism.” That is another way of saying “No.” [1}

    While in France in 2009 Obama pleased the French by saying “In America, there’s a failure to appreciate Europe’s leading role in the world. Instead of celebrating your dynamic union and seeking to partner with you to meet common challenges, there have been time where America has shown arrogance and been dismissive, even derisive.” (2)

    During the G20 summit of April 2009 President Obama bowed to King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia while holding his hand. {3} The Washington Times referred to the bow as a “shocking display of fealty to a foreign potentate”, which ran contrary to American tradition of not deferring to royalty. {3}

    A Washington Times editorial noted, “By bending over to show greater respect to Islam, the US president belittled the power and independence of the United States.” “Such an act is a traditional obeisance befitting a king’s subjects, not his peer.”{4}

    President Obama’s Department of State has apologized to a family for killing their terrorist son. Their son, Samir Khan was an “al-Qaida propagandist and recruiter.” Khan was the right-hand man to Amwar al-Awlaki, a violently anti-United States al-Qaida leader. Kahn and al-Awlaki were killed in an airstrike in Yemen.{5}

    Does Obama believe that we need to transform our nation by presenting ourselves as weak and non-responsive to those who disagree with our ideals?

    How can a president of the United States, who took an oath of office” to protect and defend the United States of America and its Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic,” be trusted to uphold this oath when he apologizes to our present enemies?

  6. Agree about the fringe group of Muslims over-reacting to a film. Disagree about your opinion regarding PBO apologizing for America in any way, other than as posted regarding the fringe soldiers.

  7. I don't know where I said obama himself apologized for the film but his admin did and he is responsible for what they do and say. Again condemning the film makers to appease the murderous muslims is an apology. The admin instead should be condemning the illegal actions that were taken against us and our people over there, and they should be demanding justice.

  8. I believe mrbill owes us an apology, with the irony being fully appreciated by all.

    What about it mrbill? Are you man enough to step up and apoloigize like your president is so ready to do? or do we have to be muslims to warrant that?

    You said the apology criticsim was based on lies. Clearly there were a series of apologies, some more ridiculous than others.

    Mrbill is just full of it. If I didn't have to read his re-posts from others I could just ignore his ignorance.

    I believe mrbill is like Obama - Never apologize (TO America), never say you are sorry, never admit to a mistake.
