No. It's true. It took me over ten years to develop a winning system so simple that it codes into 20 SLOCs (not ADHD, that is just an abusing undicator). The ten years is embarrassing because I developed it as an S/R indicator on the daily chart for investing and didn't recognize its value for intraday.
You're not the first person to have taken an inordinate amount of time to recognize that the best approaches are often the simplest and right under our very noses. Only ten years, you say?
That's roughly right for total years intermittently day trading. Full time, the past three years. But for as long back as I can remember I have been old and infirm and half-blind and fast slipping mentally. No country for old men.
