Yes - higher timeframes give very nice signals........ http://www.charthub.com/images/2006/08/21/Untitled_1.png ....and look at the current signal that worked like a champ SHORTing last Friday's close.......... http://www.charthub.com/images/2006/08/21/Untitled_1_2.png That is a look of a 30 minute chart....is that a high enough of a time frame for you?
Thanks.....I use the Investor R/T "True Strength Index" chart instrument set to the following; Short Term: 5 Long Term: 20 Price: Hi+Lo+Cl/3 (times x 100)
Looks good Romik! Yes, I typically mean longer frames but that is my style. It does work in any time frame. The degree of gain is different on different frames and so is up to the individual.
Hey Humble, I would say short 1297.75 with PT of 1290.00 Is that good enough for you? Now, I am no expert on these type patterns and B1 hasn't yet answered my question. The price hasn't yet printed 97.75, so when it does you can fire up your sim. EDIT: Stop 1305.50, that's not an ideal R:R, though that's what mine is intraday, I manage, depends on probability stats.
