Not a problem. I enjoy reading your journal everyday. It takes a lot of balls to lay your trades out there for all to see and scrutinize.

  3. Hi bs

Would that be because the Zionist Space Alien Bankers get ahold of them?

That seems to be your theory for everything else that happens in the world.

Yes I did see your earlier post.

My problem is, I don't really see any trades on the ES journal thread. What I do see are vague references to areas where a trade can take place, but not much more. I don't see charts shwoing the entry and exit conditions either. To prove a statement when challenged, the author should be willing to post trades real time. Real trades consist of an entry trigger, a stop loss number, and a target. If you don't agree that a trade consists of the above, then just define objectively what does constitute a complete trade as per your system and then execute it and show how it works.

If you all don't agree to posting "clear" real time decisions based on your system to prove your assertion, then you leave yourself open to criticism for a lack of credibiilty. At this point I don't know whether there is any merit to the"actual grail" statement one way or the other because I have not seen it in action.

Yes, I know what you are saying. But B1 is a positional trader and his entries and exits are not listed everyday. I have seen them mainly because I follow his journal everyday. I would not go through 600+ pages and look for them myself but I know when he enters and exits.

I don't use the RSI as I don't fully understand it and all its nuances but I have seen him and others use it successfully. And if I was doing positional type trades I would learn more about RSI and how to use it.

If you are sceptical, just do some backtesting, here is a current example in ES, though too short of a TF for accuracy.

EDIT: from the time of posting +1 point!!!, as you can see from the chart an earlier entry was quite possible, hindsight not hindsight depends whether you trust the signal initially and reaction lag also forms part of potential problem. But, B1S2 was referring to longer TFs, I assume from his previous posts, daily/weekly.

  7. Have you ever looked at Ergodic's? :) (i am not really a fan of squiggly lines but this one has been used by others to extract daily profits).

It does not matter to me whether or not the real time posts are daytrades or not. I don't want examples, I want the real stuff.

If you all don't want to provide the real stuff then scream uncle and beg off and admit the original post is erroneous and unproven. Otherwise prove it. I don't know how to be any clearer.

Bottom line, I am one of the few traders here who posts real time trade and analysis. I offered the grail so that others may benefit. It works and has for quite some time. I will continue to post my real time trades in the ES Journal, and to a lesser extent in the FX Futures Journal and the Grains Journal. I recently returned to position trading from experiments with day trading in both the ES and in the FXFutures, so results should begin to be very good as that is where my 25 1/2 years experience has been. Use the pattern if you wish, but no ill will if you don't. :)

I've never looked at that before, but without much perusal of the chart, I could see that when the short signal arrived, it coincided with a breach of the reaction low and then a stop could have been trailed down above the reaction highs. The problem is that I don't enjoy watching the chart all day and I would rather position trade as it allows me to have great freedom in my life. Does this signal work also with longer term charts?
