The grail by definition is "the object of an extended or difficult quest" This means, there has to be evidence of a genuine diffcult pursuit, or effort displayed first. What is so hard about posting winning trades after the fact? What does the above prove, besides the obvious?

  2. Finding a personal trading "grail" is an education process through much study and research........the postings are an education into what I use as my "grail" and what trades I took live in the chatroom I am in everyday.

....and I have made realtime trade calls here when time permits during my trade day........

  5. I do not use RSI but I added it to the bottom of the indicator group.

Elsewhere there is a thread that is related to making 5K a day. recently there was an interchange between an ES trader and another sort of trader. The pro uses "levels" as a referent to make money. I commented there briefly.

My chart shows SCT on the five min ES chart.

The actions center on using channel end effects (ftt's and BO's and FBO's. The early warning indicator is often the fast stochastic(5, 2, 3) I marked in vertical heliotrope where the fast line of the 5,2,3 crosses 50% (this is where sentiment goes from one attitude to the other). Trades are taken on "lelvel" in congestion and lateral channels. In channels with low pace traverses are traded both ways.

the use of RSI is said to diminish as the fractal trading choice goes to faster fractals for the purpose of taking money out of the markets. The 5 minute provides 20 to 40 actions a day and it is about optimum for meeting the target for 3 times the high low of the day on the 81 5 minute bars.

as you can see the RSI signals are confirmed by the fast stcohastic (5, 2, 3) and the fast stochastice gives more signals.

what is at hand it how the RSI can be used for a purpose to make money.

The 81 bars can be divided into four kinds of segments: legs, 2point trades; 3tick trades and sidelining when the signal is less than noices. The segments are determined by the horizontal volume lines: DU for sidelining; low for 3 tick; medium for 3tick to 2 points; high for 2points; and extrodinary for leg trading.

A different trader orientation is required for each of the "zones" of profit taking potential. The market dictates which zone a person grooves in.

This level of RSI indicator trading means that the person is not able to vary his orientation to the market as it trades during the day. Refer to the journal for confirmation.

As you can see projecting channels is done with the first two bars of the channel and they are determine as an end effect is signaled. All end effect signals come directly from an annotated LEADING indicator of the ES and are not part of the ES indicators nor ES annotation.

The set of leading indicators include:

    1. The YM price formations (2 min)

    2. the Gaussians on the volume of YM (2 min)

    3. The PRV bouncing ball on the YM and ES volume

    4. the strech/squeeze graphic for the DIA cash as offset from the YM futures index (instntaneous with a persistant screen record.

    5. The DOM shown as a button on five levels for both bid and ask. continuous feed)

    6. the tick chart of ES and tick volume (5 min delineations)

    7. the leading tick chart and tick volume of YM relative to ES (2 min delineations)

All of these leading indicators of the trading chart make it possible to provisionally annotate the channels as soon as price moves away from the salient portion of the bar for annotation.

Thus all "end effects" where the profits are loked in and the reversal also begins the next trade as seen a limitations of price movement whithin a prescribed context.

For making money and extracting the whole potential that the market offers and doing it Continually and Seamlessly it is a rather mundane and routine process where a drill is just ecexcuted cyclically so that you are always front running all other traders as a parasite of their upcoming actions.

Traditionally I make 50% of my annual earnings on either side of the Labor Day dividing line.

recently the market has not been offing much in the daily H-L which is what sets my standard fo 3 times H-L. These days of 7 points or so have a greater distribution of 3 tick trades (see "levels" reference) than doing legs (detectable by RSI occasionally) Holding to about 20 to 40 actions a day a chieves the simple goal of being in the market all the time and always being on the right side of the market.

It is a MAJOR effort to mentally adjust to SCT trading where hold and reversal replace the CW type entry and exit thinking. There is also little emphasis on stops and money management and more emphasis on what is the contract level just below the limitation of partial fills. 10 to 25 contracts are the norm meaning that a reversal on 10 contracts is a 20 contract action and a reversal on 25 contracts is a 50 contract action.

Do not expect any of this to be believable to the detractors. They must play their game. for anyone who can read thses comments, it is time to get to work to make excellent trading a reality. What I say here has nearly 50 years of market observation behind it and as a consequence I am able to actually, really view the market's activities while most people have NEVER even seen the markets as yet.

I am treating this an an adult intellectually oriented forum.

if it is good signal, it should fired off the same time in the same direction as the 'grail'. Each person should has his/her own personal grail though, imho.

I have no grail, nor have I made any statement to that effect.

Your work is interesting but it has nothing to do with B1S2's statement.

this should be obvious, I am interested in legit trades that define the entry trigger, the stop, and the target all in the same post real time using the grail method as defined by B1S2.

Otherwise there is nothing to talk about.

I think I have been very enthusiastic in the pursuit of the truth. jmo.

  10. OK....fair enough.....but I am here challenging B1S2, and that I think the Ergodic is better for use in a "grail" system over the RSI.....LOL!

It would be neat for B1S2 to post some charts of the same time periods from some of my charts here, to compare the "look" of the indicators during equal time periods.....if he feels like it.

Now we can have some fun here. :D
