Very few evangelicals stand in opposition to the death penalty, the Iraq war, etc. Wishing someone dead, which I have seen expressed frequently in this forum by many right wing klannish Christians, is quite different than wishing they would would change their behavior. What is observed here from the right wing klannish Christians is not a peace loving nature, but a war like mentality, Old Testament angry vengeful God stuff and filled with hate of other people, having no problem thinking in violent terms toward others. I don't see expressions or demonstrations of "loving the sinner" used in this forum by the klannish right wing Christians...quite the opposite.
