In my observation, limited to futures only and maybe CL particularly, Friday's tend to be days that test the extremes. Having failed at the WAup 3 times this week, I was anticipating this move down to test the WAdn after it failed up there yesterday for the 3rd time and then moved past the MAdn. WAup was against the Mth OR and logically should have provided resistance and did. Much of the session still remains today and it is just about tagging my WAdn. It is possible there is further downside in CL today IMRO (in my rookie opinion ). Any thoughts anyone?
And a rookie opinion it was. My bad for getting into a predictive mode. Failed at WAdn and swiftly back to the MAdn.
Further recording my observation. I was thinking A down (chart) but then what a failure it was from there - all the way to the ATR.
Well I've mentioned on here many times that QTR A levels often mark the end of long term trends. I would not be shorting Coco but if I was long, it would give me a good reason to get out and at least look for a better entry on a long, maybe on a failed monthly A down in August if the number line is still confirmed.
Thank you for your response. You may already mentioned this as well but sometimes when you're reading, the question doesn't come to mind ,but later when it does you forget which page of the thread to refer back to. I am tracking A levels and NL for equities...but these companies report before and after the market close. Do these gap up or gap downs come into play? Thanx in advance for any insight.
Hey now fellow newbs, Here's some of my general market number lines that you may find of interest. My IS Dept Head doctored up my summary pages so I get a quick 5 day view of everything I track. I've grown fond of Shan's 5 Day Change so I'll add it here for you to take a look at. (I don't post my stock stats as everyone keeps different symbols.)
Generous of you to share this Robert. If I might trouble you, could you refresh my memory on the concept of Shan's 5 Day Change? That has not stuck in mind for some reason.
