GBP/AUD spiking on the Aussie jobs number. That's a 600 pip bounce the last two sessions.

This thread should become the 2nd edition of the book.

I am still going through this thread and found this posted by Maverick more than 3 years ago.

"confirmed A trades at the very minimum hit the ATR a majority of the time. "

And I thought I knew ACD having read the book and programming most of it :D

Anyway, a slight modification of my programming shows this to be true for CL even today at least for the past 2 months at the intraday time period.

    Thanks again.

Wow, USD/JPY is actually flirting with confirming on the downside on the 30 day NL. It confirmed briefly last year on two occasions but immediately re-set. So it's been over a year since we had a real legitimate confirmation on the downside. This could get interesting.

  6. Hello Mav,

If you're currently keeping the numberline for AAPL, perhaps you could post the 5 day as of the close on Thursday, the 16th?

    Thanks

I stopped running AAPL number lines at the end of last year.

  10. Mav, do you score the FX markets on U.S. holidays? In your experience do U.S. holidays have an impact on FX, or is it business as usual?

On government holidays where bonds are closed and Globex trading I have typically ignored the day, ditto for the half days where markets are typically dead.
