well I was long puts in aapl yesterday so csco helped the cause. I don't think nq sold off 50 because of csco do you?
Yeah they got hit as soon as CSCO reported. Keep in mind, CSCO affects about 40 to 50 companies in the NASDAQ either directly or indirectly.
check out this PCLN chart, retraced the entire earnings move to the close around 930 anectodal reversion argument.
I've talked about this ETF a lot on here. It's hitting a new 52 week high today. This is an easy way for you guys to trade the yield curve which is going through nice steepening process. I think this is a better trade then being short bonds or fixed income outright. And when the time comes, its' brother ETF is FLAT, yup, that's the flattener trade.
I got long Gold around 1300. First time in a LONG time. It's actually the first bullish signal I got in Gold all year. Silver gave a buy signal yesterday. Both look great. Remember the rarity principle, the more infrequent you get a signal in something, the better the trade. Copper and Palladium also on fire. Basically, China is back. FCX catching a bid. EEM and FXI on fire. X (US Steel) wants to break out. Everything China is going bid. That's where I think the strength is coming from in Gold and Silver.
