Here is my 5 day numberline...notice the mean is 1.3 and the standard dev is 1.64. Very correlated tape with very little short-term momentum in either direction!
I've read Fishers book, currently rereading it and this this thread. Some questions to the more experienced traders. 1. Which open do you use globex or pit? 2. What values do you use for A's and C's, I've read something like 20-25% ATR is that correct?
Short and long, it depends. Like for instance, if you're trading commodities, I'd use the pit, but some might not. If you're trading stocks, then just market open. If you're trading currency, then it's all about the domicile market. I like 20% of the ATR, but I have my reasons. Between 20 and 25% of the ATR should be fine though.
