I'm adding a tip jar to the thread. Leave what you can. :)

Maybe they think the thread is misspelled and not worth their time. :)

  4. Most guys I think do not have a signal generator, Mav. So when they come here looking for one, and realize that this a thread to make good traders better, they leave.

I do worry about the occasional basement stalker following me up here tho. I really need to break the P&R habit.

They don't know the secret knock though. So they can't come in. :)

There in lies my deficiency, and why I stick to one stock

I use TS, and hired a programmer to code the OR, and A lines in EL (both of which I can adjust)

But I suck at figuring out how to scan (a complete computer illiterate)

So here I sit, in total listening and learning mode

    I will figure it out

    Hi RN,

Mav posted this site a while back, and I've found it very useful for general scans, (strength vs weakness). Take a look:

    www.finviz.com

Nothing fancy here, (and trust me, I'm right there with you, I limit what I trade just based on not having the software needed to pick the best products yet).

Really though, so long as you have the number line telling you what's strong and what's weak, you have a pretty good down and dirty first filter when looking for products to express a trade in.

The TS forums have quite a bit of info on scans and the like. If you post a topic, some of the people would more than likely point you in them right direction!

  9. Okay, well, ACD people are not going to absolutely agree on anything, as all of our levels are different. It's the process that this thread is about.

That said. If you are good at one stock, and you apply ACD to keep you from going countertrend, in my opinion you are golden RN.

    Thank You Every One

    Finviz – I use a lot

I know about the TS forum and have lurked there often, but not posted any questions – may try that

Some days easier opportunity could be found else where than where I’m trading.. and being the consummate opportunist , would like to tap into it.. plus I need to diversify a bit

    But I hear Ya Sir
