I really appreciate the fact that even though we all trade different products, styles, and timeframes, and we all calculate our A levels differently, we all still recognized the importance of areas we were approaching today.
One of the nice things about ACD is it gives you these targets to prepare for and take action. If you are short risk assets right now, it gives you a target to cover. If you are sitting on the sidelines, it gives you a level to possibly get involved on the long side if they hold. Most these levels will NOT be obvious to everyone else. Except of course the readers of this thread....
Maverick or anyone else here: What's the best way to learn this methodology? I have the book but it's been a while since I have read it. Is there something beyond that?
Are you implying to sell them? The market right now is in no mans land. Referring to risk assets. The play here is to wait. We have a confirmed weekly A down in the ES. The monthly is 40 handles lower. Nothing is really sticking out to me. It would have been nice to get the VIX higher. I really want to size into that VIX trade.
Is that a rhetorical question? LOL. I'm in the process of putting these posts into a file, maybe a PDF. This thread is basically a book. Welcome aboard!
No not rhetorical. I am reading the thread and appreciate it. Was just wondering if there is material available if an account is opened with MBF, etc.?
What kind of material? The book "Logical Trader" pretty much is a detailed breakdown of all things ACD.
