I talk a lot about the yield curve on here and I found this article to be helpful in understanding the nuances between the 2/10 and 10/30. http://seekingalpha.com/article/4042586-yield-curve-tell-bit-growth-now-bit-less-later
Mav appreciate the knowledge you need to slow down your adding number's on to my reading list may need to opt to audiobooks ( i'm having to go back and re-read some stuff aswell including some old posts) ,from reading some recent posts including this one i'm starting to think we should replace the term "trader" with risk manager i mean the the health and safety type but all jokes aside Risk manager seems a more accurate term. By the way one the posts regarding koolaid question and you answer/explanation regarding the question is phenomenal i'm surprised the like's haven't gone crazy oh well i found informative links strongly with what one the great floor traders where saying , well I though i would leave the like button as i seem to spam to often lol and also see how everyone would react. Maybe i'm easy to please.
Interesting observation....the dollar is starting to breakdown against the Aussie, Cable, Canadian Dollar in addition to the previous breakdowns against the Yen and Peso. THAT is something no one is talking about. Except here of course.
Could you elaborate further on the implications? Just want to get your thought process. Does that mean risk on again?
So here is what is happening in my opinion. The market is starting to push the rate hikes further out which is causing the dollar to sell off. I think the FED is starting to believe the fiscal stimulus and the tax cuts are going to take longer then expected and therefore they might be compelled to wait. So the dollar sells off and eventually stocks will pull in a little. Watch oil carefully. If we see oil break down, stocks will follow.
Can I get a couple of Number Lines for Cocoa? I am sure it is negative but am curious to see a few from other people. Thanks.
I actually stopped tracking Coco but I'm sure it's deeply negative. Looks like a pretty smooth short.
