The ACD Method

  1. I am still here. Currently working about 40 miles offshore in the Gulf of Mexico.

Unfortunately the satellite internet out here is not good enough for me to trade, so I missed a lot of the brexit volatility.

Should be back on terrafirma around the 12th August so will be back to regular posting then.

    Best regards to all.

You're working on an oil rig?

  3. It is interesting to see this theory play out. I have confirmed MADns all across the petro complex, forwards and spreads included.

  4. Kind of, I am working as a diver on a salvage project to remove a jack up barge that collapsed and fell onto an oil platform.

This is what it looked like before it completely sank.

My spreads have been negatively confirmed for a while now, they are deeply negative. That ZZ spread in WTI has been decimated.

Wow. Be careful. Is that on the ocean bottom now?

  7. Yup it sank after a re-float attempt failed due to bad weather. its now lying in around 100' of water.

And I assume you are a pretty skilled diver? LOL. I mean this is not the type of thing someone "volunteers for". :)

  9. Well I have been diving for around 15 years and the work I normally do is pretty specialised.

It's pretty much the financial incentive that keeps me coming back, that's for sure :). Funny as it may sound lots of people ask me if I work on a no cure no fee basis, that is the case for many treasure hunters but not myself.

    Mav,

Any thoughts on the bond market while we're only points away from all time highs in the S&P? Does something have to give or can this continue? I've also believed the bond market to be "sharp" money and that we should be listening to what it's telling us. Is this not the case here?
