You're comparing your average voter to a "reporter" covering a conflict that has its roots on the foundation of the country.....it'd be like basic reading material. The commentator is not mad at the shitty coverage of the present event as much as he's over historicity of the expulsion of the Arabs. I didn't need to leave my couch to read the Nakba wiki.
The guy was saying how most Americans were ignorant of what was going on over there..... there are very few unbiased clean accounts of what is going on over there here in the U.S. However when I have had to travel out of the country I see better news from Europe and Latin America. The average American has no idea about Middle East conflcits because their news is so filtered and wiki is just another editorialized source which I cannot rely on 100%.
sure, I just don't think reporters get a pass. Wiki's been a bit of a mess post start of war but the expulsion history is well documented from other sources including Israeli historians.
