So, expose the scam! Why didn't the Democrats expose it?

Why are you so against rooting out corruption?

USAID gave $2M to "strengthen trans organizations in Guatemala".
USAID gave $750k to "aleviate loneliness among migrant garment workers in India".
USAID gave $1.5M to provide a "gender sensitive response to migration at the Venezuelan border".
USAID gave $4.5M to fund comprehensive health services for men having sex with other men in South Africa".
USAID gave $1.5M to advance DEI in workplaces in Serbia.

But Trump! But NASA! You folks are such frauds.

No one ever said it was a scam. What I am saying is you don’t need to demonize people and programs to cut/reduce funding.

You don’t realize it but you are in a tizzy, calling everything a scam and corrupt. You should slow down. An atmosphere of chaos and confusion is being created. If it is intentional, I have no idea. But it is obvious the rhetoric is getting a bit extreme with the justifications for these cost cutting measures, and workforce reductions.

Reducing funding and the workforce in the name of cost savings and efficiency is a benefit onto itself. The fact that there is specious rhetoric around it makes it suspicious.

These two posts seem to be in conflict with one another.

I'm not calling everything a scam and corrupt, don't be hyperbolic. I'm calling specific examples of programs corrupt. I'm calling USAID corrupt because there are numerous examples of corruption, so by definition, the program is corrupt, poorly managed, and wasteful of spending.

If you want to make the argument that it isn't corrupt, but there are a bunch of inept people running it and we're not talking malevolence but incompetance, I don't really care. I'll yield the point about corruption if we both agree that the funding gets cut and the people get fired, which you should agree with if they're incompetant. Unless, of course, you like how the money is being spent.

And see, I don't care one iota about the rhetoric. I care about the results. Get the money back, cut the wasteful spending and get it under control. Fire those responsible.

I disagree. Slowing it down at this stage allows the people responsible for the incompetence/corruption to get a foothold and mount legal challenges, and tie the whole thing up in court so it can continue. That's what they want. No, in my opinion, it has to be a right hook coming after the uppercut was already delivered, followed by a kick to the groin immediately after.

They are firing people so quickly that they don't even have an effective termination and wind-down process in place.

USAID was dismantled so fast one fired employee had to be REHIRED to process time sheets
