"A jury found Manafort guilty on eight of 18 counts he was tried within the Eastern District of Virginia, with the judge declaring a mistrial on the other ten. The guilty charges included multiple counts of false income tax returns, failure to file reports of foreign bank accounts, and bank fraud." Not Election Interference, actual crimes.

"Rick Gates, a former Trump campaign official and longtime business associate of Paul Manafort, was charged in two separate federal courts in connection to financial crimes, unregistered foreign lobbying and on allegations that he made false statements to federal prosecutors." Not Election Interference, actual crimes.

"In the third, prosecutors implicated Kilimnik for the first time, charging him with conspiracy to obstruct justice and obstruction of justice." Not Election Interference, actual crimes.

"In the agreement, Michael Flynn pleaded guilty to one felony count of "willfully and knowingly making materially false statements and omissions to the Federal Bureau of Investigation" about conversations with the Russian ambassador to the United States, Sergey Kislyak, "in violation of 18 U.S.C.," Not Election Interference, actual crimes - lying to the FBI about conversations he had which impeded their investigation.

and so on and so forth. these people that were convicted actually committed crimes. I don't see any of them as having been charged or convicted for election interference, do you?

When we talk about election interference and the left calling for people to be jailed over it, you can't respond back "see, here's bank fraud! its real".

The funny thing is by now I'd have grabbed your peanut and crushed it against the closest flat surface, while telling you to please, take your hands off your head and reach for your 40 cal daily driver. The one you believed would make you a good guy with a gun someday.

But, I think I'm getting the balance of neutotransmitters right, B complex is helping a lot. You can't annoy me. Weird.

Tsingy is playing a game of semantics here, insisting that unless someone was explicitly convicted of "election interference," the broader issue of collusion or improper conduct doesn’t count. It's a classic move to shift the goalposts and demand an impossibly narrow definition. "Yes, they committed crimes, but not the exactly worded crime I want to acknowledge."

Al Capone wasn’t a gangster because they only got him on tax evasion.

If you are a fan of Seinfield you will find the chess story interesting.

It's not a game of semantics, my overly obtuse friend. We (and by "we", I mean Ricter and I, you just insert yourself into other people's conversations because no one pays any attention to you) specifically discussed arresting people for "election interference". I said people on the left tried it, and people on the right tried it. The crime Elon is wrongfully calling for prosecution on is election interference. Not bank fraud and all the other things.

Critical thinking is tough, I get it. But if you just open up and try it, you'll start to quickly improve. I promise.

Too convenient. The FBI determined there was Russian interference, but individuals with contacts within Russia were found guilty of other crimes. Some crimes leave paper trails, others don't. If it walks like a duck, and quacks like...

Now, was there any crime committed by 60 Minutes?

Are you asking me this same question over and over again to see if I somehow change what I've already said multiple times?

If that's not clear enough, then let me know, I'll try to make a pop-up book with it.

Ah, so you have no proof of Russian interference. Does this mean I can go after lefties that committed actual crimes and make the comparison to 60 minutes? Of course not.

I just gave you one of the most aggregious examples. The left called for Trump to be arrested because of the pee pee tape, saying it was election interference because he was a Russian asset. Was that correct?

If you have any election interference claims that should have stuck, I'm happy to consider. So far, nada.

    Okay okay.

Nevertheless, you have not established equivalency between dems calling for election interferers to be locked up, and Musk calling for 60 Minutes people to be locked up. Flynn's admission to lying during the Russia investigation is not quite there, is it? Like, the famous precedent, Capone was never actually convicted of murder.
