last last link, numbers are starting from page 6, in thousands. btw, some agencies, fed or local, would hire private firms, i.e. the big 4, to audit the books from time to time. go see big 4s revenues break down.
lol. Show any Florida agency that has “line by line” accounting. FEMA probably does a million transactions a week during a major disaster. We would need an army to line by line detail the spending.
Is this the page you mean? Because that's not line by line. That shows how much was spent by category. Not the same thing. In many categories, it doesn't say where it went, who got the money, etc. As an example, where would the $59M of funding to house illegals be? Probably in the big bucket of "disaster relief", right? Which is essentially a slush fund for all sorts of things that FEMA can spend on. That's why a line by line makes sense.
He is the land manager. He hires the gardeners. I'm a job creator. Actually, the good at math stereotype...
I don't see this in the Florida state constitution: "Article I, Section 9, Clause 7: No Money shall be drawn from the Treasury, but in Consequence of Appropriations made by Law; and a regular Statement and Account of the Receipts and Expenditures of all public Money shall be published from time to time." First, FEMA has an army already. But we're not saying this has to be the case all the time. But it would be nice, once in a while, to bring in a third party auditor who does this and then makes public what it finds. When was the last time that happened?
Does this fantasy land you own, where you have a land manager you pay exist on Planet Earth or someplace else? Between the gardening crew I hire, the maids & my kid's tutor, I probably employ just as many as you do in imaginary-land.
Nothing in that provision directs “line by line” accounting. I’m not against an audit. Have at it. All you’re going to find is red states are reliant on federal money for state services, what yall call waste. Nothing is going to change in terms of spending.
If Red states are part of the waste, then cut the waste out. I don't care where it's going, so long as it stops. You folks seem to get all up in arms whenever the audit finds stuff, though.
you are just beyond dumb, no pun intended. lat two lines, debby and milton, total 1.4 billion went to florida, otherwise you would still be drinking salt waters. January 2025 Disaster Relief Fund Report https://www.fema.gov/sites/default/..._january-2050-disaster-relief-fund-report.pdf
I'm beyond dumb, but you can't even do a spell check before posting. I asked you to let me know where, specifically, to go. You told me to go to page six of the last link (you said "last last link") when you really meant the second link you posted. And I'm the one who's dumb. So then you give me another link, and it's page 8.
