You make the accusation when you have some information beyond a couple of numbers. Elon knows better and he is manipulating you, which is easy as you want him to. Right now you don't even know if it was her husband's money or inherited. While financial disclosure discrepancies deserve scrutiny, the raw numbers alone don’t necessarily imply corruption. If there’s wrongdoing, "follow the money" is the right approach, but assuming a savvy investor can’t make $23M in a few years underestimates how fast wealth can compound.
USAID needs a good audit for sure.....but allowing a foreign national absolute power to shut down the entire agency is absolute bullshit... what will happen in 2028 when the democrats bring in Soros or some other cuck to dismantle ICE and ATF and whatever he wants gone .
I wonder if the reason USAID was targeted as part of this swamp the zone blitzkrieg is because of the disparity between what people thought it cost and reality? Reality vs. Public Perception USAID’s budget is typically around $30–40 billion per year (fluctuating based on congressional allocations). U.S. GDP is roughly $27 trillion (as of 2024). That means USAID’s budget is about 0.1–0.15% of GDP A tiny sliver. Yet public surveys consistently show Americans believe foreign aid is 10% or more of the federal budget, when in reality, all foreign aid (including USAID) is far less than 1% of federal spending. Maybe @Tsing Tao can explain to us stupid people why USAID was a priority, unless he agrees that it was insignificant but high profile/emotive, and a great bandwidth occupier in the media, to hide other things.
The question wasn't as to whether he was indicted or not, but the time lapse between when people here claimed he would be, and when he was. You're a smart guy, you realize what I'm arguing. You just want to be argumentitive, as usual.
