I agree there will be moves out of middle or consolidation. Howver it usually chops to death on both sides of the middle until it finallu makes its real move. Like the bond settle P formation on Monday, it tanked Tues morning well below previous day value area low before then rallying almost 2 points as es tanked. The point is is MKT profile is great after the day is over when you explain to someone everything that happened. It does not show the trader getting chopped in consolidation on the fake moves out of the middle.
Agree... It also depends on how you're segmenting the chart as well. One could show a "move out of the middle", after the fact, in any fashion he chooses if he segments the chart in a certain way. It's a nice work of art in hindsight, but how about some real time posts...

It does absolutely work. It is very difficullt to prove the concept to you if you won't take the time to see for yourself, for free. You need only to spend a few hours in the room. It's easy to say something works or doesn't work once you experience it for yourself. If you come into the room for a few hours or days then you can report back to the ET Forum your conclusions.
