LOL at some of these comments! Obama HAD to throw this debate to keep the race close. You folks all read the paper, so surely you all saw the article that said something to the effect that if Romney blows this debate, donors will back away and begin funneling cash down ticket. Obama goosed it to save the other elections.

Obama could have ripped Romney's throat out on MANY occasions, but didn't. Meanwhile, Romney essentially fell on his own sword by doubling down on his medicare voucher idea and completely backed away from his tax cut proposal.

I agree Romney won the debate, but that was carefully planned by the Obama campaign. Things are not as they appear.

A dreamer. How's that tax increase on dividends Obama has planned going to work out for you?

Keep in mind that one of these pathological liars is lying about not being a Socialist/Communist. There is a choice here.

Remember this my ET brethren: Without a clearcut knockout, it's not who wins the debates, it's who wins the election.

There was no knockout in debate #1.

  7. Exactly right and to prove the point has anyone here changed their decision to vote from Obama to Romney, no. OK then any undecideds here who are now decided to vote for Romney, no again. Kinda makes the debates a pissing contest then doesn't it.

I was out working for a living tonight. I taped the debate. Is it worth my time to watch it? I'm sure my wife will insist, so I'll refrain from comment till tomorrow...or never.

  9. This election is going to be whether you want Medicare or a voucher system.

Vote for the black guy and keep Medicare or vote republican and hope that voucher will cover you. That's one helluva choice for the tea party people!

  10. When Romney said if you're 60 you have nothing to worry about and when Obama came back with if you're 54 or 55, well that got to me. I'd be pissed off paying in for decades and have Romney change the rules in midstream. For those out there from 40 on up get ready for the shaft in SS and Medicare if Romney wins.
