    and to your point both in South America and Africa taxes are hard to collect....

  3. Yeah, but same applies to Greece and look at them... They just managed to use and abuse their EU membership.

  4. for a farmer in Mali, taxes are and always have been 100% if you play by the rules, and those taxes have been collected very easily ever since anyone can remember

    What is especially worrisome about Japan is the stagnant / declining population growth. They really should pay couples to have children.

    Yes, Greece does not print Euro, they just borrowed and let the other EU members paid back. Brilliant.
