If you ask about CCI, then yes it does. The reason why I use at all is to smoth price action. Just looking at candles can be a bit confusing.

The way I use it is I watch the number of contracts being traded at the current price. Are they hitting the bid more or hitting the ask more? Watch the number of contracts offered above and below the current price. If there is a large number at a certain level what happens when the price gets there? Do they take fills or do they scatter? I watch those things and I watch candle patterns on a 5 minute chart and keep an eye on the volume.
There are several live trading webinars on IB's website conducted by pros (I'm not) that explain this much better than I could. Works for me. Hope that helps. Best to get in with a limit order.
