FWIW, the reason I wasn't "talking" is because I had a meeting at my day job. TWS now shows my position. They busted one option trade I made in IWM, which was filled (apparently) a few seconds after the "halt". All my other trades in options on those underlyings stand. Also, it wasn't a crazy price. The fill on the trade they busted was between the daily high and daily low fill prices on that particular contract during the rest of the trading session, long after the morning halt. I do have minor unexpected overnight exposure, but it's not too bad. I'll manage.
was the fill reasonable based on the price at the halt. being in the 'range' is meaningless but yes, trading while the halt is on is not really kosher.
The fill price was not out of line at the time of the halt. I had a limit order working in the market prior to the halt. Then the market was halted. Then a few seconds later, my order was filled. It was not intentional to "trade while the halt is on".
I assumed that. Then it was just an unfortunate event. Hope you made a little or didnt lose much its possible they are obligated to break the trade.
