And the Old cat said, "Those who know don't talk, and those who talk don't know"*. And you want me to talk more? :)

Fascinating how ET threads can change character. All it takes is one random word to throw things in a very different direction. Ironically, the random word in this case is "random". Fortunately this is one of those all-too-rare times where the off-topic discussion is at least as informative as the title topic. :)

Sorry, I wasn't criticizing, just making an observation. I also apologize for not contributing to the thread topic.

EFAX... $4 to $30 in two weeks
    SCKT.OB/ nasdaq listed.... $0.86 to $50 in 6 months
DGLI... plus 3,200 percent or was it 5,000 percent for 1999

....watching shizz like CMGI go from $4 to over $300 changed my perspective although I was never in it...

    hooked.

I thought about any strategy because you said trade management is more important.

    Hey CF

You asked me if "those principals" (meaning mine - the one's I specifically laid out) are similar for ANY strategy

If I'm a BB - and simply working my book back and forth - "my principals" (as I specifically laid them out) wouldn't work

If I were using the instrument I trade as a hedge - "my principals" wouldn't work

If I RTM trading - "my principals" wouldn't work

It I were capturing the spread..., or getting paid for providing liquidity

And these but a few examples

Trade management would still rule - but the "principals" of said management - as I specifically laid them out - would need modified accordingly
