  1. What are the mayor
    PROS AND CONS
    ABOUT
ETRADE, AND TD WATERHOUSE VERSUS IB?

  2. Any serious active trader will tell you that neither Etrade, nor TD, are viable alternatives, while IB is a viable alternative. I realize my answer is vague, but sorry, I don't have time to go into details, maybe somebody else will do so.

  3. Depends on how you trade. For most daytraders, IB would be the clear choice.

For large trade sizes done slowly, you could probably use either of the others with minimal negative impact.

With IB you have maximum control of your order, the web based brokers introduce some clumsiness to the fills, which may cost you.
