Hi can anyone recommend a good text to speech engine. I currently use the build-in voices in XP, but they have limited functionality (for example, i would like to train the engine to pronounce stock market related words in special ways (such as SES pronounced S...E...C and not as in secondary) Oliver
I have installed the software (although I'm not using DTN). It seems that is installs 2 new voices on the system. Is that all ? Oliver
i use readplease 2003, and i know what you're talking about. in order to get it to pronounce acronyms or tickers as hard vowels, i had to trick it by spelling some things phonetically. for example, "SES" may come out right as "S EE S"
lol, funny, no i haven't. that would be so wierd. "hey ... HEY, i think you better take this loss buddy"
