    Just curious, what are you planning on doing with this text?
    Will these be notes that are updated and acted upon frequently?

    You could always just save an image of the txt in Paint and set it as your desktop. That would give you 100% transparency. Would be a pain if you plan on doing this over and over throughout the day though.

    What are other people supposed to contribute to your journal? You call trades, which is cool, but you dont really give any reasoning or commentary regarding your entries or exits. You dont post any charts, etc. Is everyone on ET supposed to stop by and congratulate you when you post "Should head higher, long" and you are right? If you want a more active journal help facilitate a two sided conversation. Did you start a journal as a learning process or just to show off? Hope you make some cash this week, good trading to you.

    Yes there is. They're usually lumped under "presentation" software. One of my favorites is Sysinternal's ZoomIt (free):
