I got stopped in a let's check drivers for whatever trap the other day. Cop had the nerve to ask me for my license, registration and proof of insurance. I have to show my "papers"? I felt like saying, can't you see I'm white? Listening to the news you would think this kind of harassment was only for Blacks and Mexicans. If I gotta' show my papers, so do you!
Again, for those who have a hard time with legitimate discussions. If the Rep's really thought they had more voters, then they would not try to stop voters from voting. They would set up voting booths at every Walmart and Sears parking lot. Of course, they know they could never win a real, total vote, popular election, thus the need for cheating.
yeah, imagine that, republicans finally decided to put an end to allowing illegal immigrants to vote against them...... what a bunch of self serving A-holes....
And you have any proof of this? Of course not, just a Rep talking point. Maybe the Reagan Immigrants who are legal now, but not the illegal ones. Sorry to bring up your sacrosanct Reagan, but come on.
LOL, you mean like this where they walk into the voting booth and take Eric Holders ballot? Jesus Don, if we cant even protect the attorney generals ballot are you really dumb enough to believe that voter fraud is not happening? <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/P5p70YbRiPw" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Captain you're seeing only one side of the issue. Yes we should have photo ID to vote, and to be fair to the legal Americans by the next presidential election we'll make this law. Then we get the photo ID law and we cut down the chance we are disenfranchising voters in this election...a win win, wouldn't you agree. Second point, the reps are pushing this because they think more legal poor voters without a photo ID will vote democrat, you have to be blind not to consider that, and since you're captain of the obvious I know you do.
Voter fraud is nearly non-existent, and you all know it. If Rep's thought they had the Americans votes, they would want more voters, not fewer.
True. But at the very least we can say that this proves the reps have some understanding of demographic data, and that they can act on it. A hopeful sign.
How much vote fraud is too much? We had a Senate election stolen in Minnesota because of it. Isn't that enough? It is perfectly obvious that one of the dem's strategies is to encourage massive illegal voting. Why they want to make it easier for people to violate the law and vote illegally is something they should have to answer for.
Best response to this article: Frankly, if you don't have an ID in the year 2012, and getting a free one is 'burdensome,' then it's absolutely in society's best interests that you don't vote! http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/ticket/free-voter-ids-still-burdensome-poor-people-says-164843705.html
