  1. The only salient thing established by the Civil war is:
    1) Federal Power is unlimited.

  4. You are well aware I was referring to the bastardization of the amendment to include the so-called anchor babies.
You shouldn't be able to come here illegally, spit out a kid, at taxpayer expense I might add, and then the kid is a American citizen so the entire fucking family get's to stay here, because lord knows we don't want to be breaking up families. Then we the taxpayer get to support the entire family.
This one thing is crushing the economy of California. To a lesser degree Arizona, and only because they don't have a State ruled by radical leftisits. The rest of the country is paying billions of dollars to support this non-sense, and we're doing it at a time when every nickel counts. It's economic suicide to continue this policy.
    Take your feigned outrage elsewhere.

Edit: As if right on cue:
    http://news.yahoo.com/california-governor-signs-budget-relying-taxes-043134586.html

Democratic leaders have agreed to deeper cuts to satisfy the governor's demands, including restructuring the state's welfare program, streamlining health insurance for low-income children, and reducing child care coverage and college aid.

Since then, Democrats who control the Legislature have been scrambling to draft companion legislation needed to implement the budget. Democrats have majorities in both the Assembly and Senate and can pass the budget without any Republican votes.

Democratic leaders agreed to Brown's request to phase in a two-year time limit for new welfare recipients to find work under the state's welfare-to-work program known as CalWORKS.

The two sides also agreed to eliminate Healthy Families, a children's health insurance program for low-income working families, by slowly moving 880,000 children into Medi-Cal, the state's version of Medicaid.

In addition, the state would reduce funding for child care assistance while college aid under the Cal Grants program would be reduced beginning in the 2013-14 school year

    Lol:

"The position causing the most controversy, however, is the statement that they oppose the teaching of "higher order thinking skills" -- a curriculum which strives to encourage critical thinking -- arguing that it might challenge "student's fixed beliefs" and undermine "parental authority."

  6. Missed this.
    So...

Except there ain't that much illegal immigration anymore, number one, and number two, bullshit anyway. Immigration is the lazy man's scapegoat for this stuff.
I know this is P&R, so posting rational stuff is strictly forbidden, but I get so fucking tired of this demagoguery by you stupid asses that I'm going to post the truth anyway.

    1. Immigrants mostly work harder than natives.
    2. They don't commit nearly as much crime, especially if you factor in how poor they are in relation to everyone else.
    3. They pay taxes, contrary to the bullshit you idiots habitually post. Not only that, without them Social Security would go bust way sooner than its projections, since most immigrants are both younger and have more children, both of which keeps the workforce a lot younger than it would otherwise be.
    4. You're still so stupid if you hit a post it would be a meeting of the minds. Nothing you can say would change the outright utter ignorance you display both on immigrants and on the Fourteenth.

In sum, shove it up your worthless ass. Sideways.

So the Texas Lawmakers cut $5.4 Billion over the 2011 to 2013 period from the education budget in Texas. Even after the cuts Texas spends over $50 Billion on K-12 education each year - and average of $11,062 per student (which is above the national mean spending per student). The cuts amount to about 6% reduction per year during 2011-2013

So can these funding cuts to public schools really be considered draconian

  8. I want to sneak into your country illegally so I can send most of my fruit picking money back to my family in Mexico. The rest I will spend on some marijuana that comes from my country and drink some tequila so that money too goes back to Mexico. I won't be on the payroll so I will pay no taxes to your country.

If you try to stop me from working I will join a gang and slit your throat.

    Typical illegal immigrant story.

  9. Only it's not legislation, it's part of the freakin' Constitution. How an Amendment which states were required by force to ratify can be valid has always escaped me, but there it is. It has been an open door for power-crazed activist judges to force their view of what our country should be on us, to hell with democracy.

A good step would to replace it with an amendment stating that only children born to citizens acquire birth citizenship, which would put us in line with most of the world, and to sepecify that citizens of any state could vote to leave the union by a supra majority vote. Ironically, we support all these bogus independence movements all over the globe. Everywhere but home. The threat of secession would be a useful limit on socialists like obama and Pelosi, since they have to have some productive people to pay for their payoffs.

  10. OK, let's take this leftist nonsense and break it down with some facts.

Immigrants work harder than natives. Well, here we go right off the bat. We must first identify who we're talking about. Illegal is the operative word that you lefties just can"t seem to understand. Beyond that, you're conjecture is not quatifiable, typical leftist, and further, it's irrelevant. Working hard does not excuse criminal behavior, which leads us to your next point.
They don't commit nearly as much crime? Wrong again! Every single one of them commited a crime when they set foot here illegally. We must also address that better than 25% of the prison population are illegals, most of whom are there for violent crimes.
Point three, they pay social security taxes. That's nice, but whatever they pay in taxes pales in comparison to what they take out. How many billions are spent trying to manage this whole immigration issue? How many taxpayer dollars does it cost to house all those criminals? How many billions are spent on our education system trying to accomodate illegals? How many billions are spent giving them free health services? Hundreds of billions spent on all kinds of social services for them. It's destroying our economy trying to accomodate all these illegals.
So you can see that the facts dispute your wild eyed claims. The bastardization of the 14th ammendment has caused more damage than any Islamic terrorist ever could. It needs to be repealed. The sooner, the better.
