Then wouldn't that make the author of the article an idiot hack? And what would that make the guy who took time out of his day to post the article ...
And I guess we would be called victims for having our time wasted for reading an article based on lies. False reporting is now the norm. Reminds me of countries where "journalism" is in such a state that one does not dare call it by its name for it would unleash a fury of denial and hate.
It also should be pointed out that Texas is moving to the left hard and fast and will more then likely be a blue state in the not so distant future. The Republicans which use to hold a large majority of state house and senate seats, now only hold a one seat majority in both. Also all the big cities in Texas now have democratic mayors, including a lesbian mayor in Houston. Go figure. As the Dems take the house and senate there, so goes the spending. Then add in all the illegals there and you have a recipe for huge deficits to come in the future. If this is not a perfect example of what happens when the left gets their hands on a state budget in a large state, then I don't know what is.
Yes, its always the left's fault when the deficits go out of hand, the right wingers are never at fault.
On a federal level the right shares equal blame with the left in terms of federal budgets. Both start wars and print money to no end. But at the state level you don't fight wars and states can't print money. So the budget comes down to social spending and welfare. This is where the left shines. If you want to see a perfect example of running a state take a look at what Gary Johnson did as Governor of New Mexico. In his two terms of Governor, he vetoed more bills in New Mexico then all other 49 state Governors combined.
