    1 Tether (USDT) = 1 USDT = $1

1 BTC = 50,000+ USDT at this time

It is because the questions are unanswerable without referring to the USD and fiat currency. Cryptos, like all other commodities, have ZERO value without being converted into the currency used in the world, which is the USD, and other countries' paper monies to "pay off all debts, public and private."

Remember that little phrase on the USD paper?

THAT'S the point I have been trying to drive home, and have given up on. Cryptos, like everything else, seem to HAVE to be compared to the USD.

So when I ask, How many BTC would it take to buy 1 Tether, well, everyone scrambles to the calculator to see how much a BTC is worth in USD.

Fiat currency will forever be interlinked with all other forms of currency, until we invent Mr. Fusion.

Free and unlimited energy is the only thing that will ever save us from the greed and spite our miserable species inflicts upon itself every day.

Bitcoin is a global asset, does not have to be sold for USD, can be sold for JPY

Any investment asset like Amazon stock or Apple stock or a house, or any investment asset is sold for USD

Bitcoin is an investment asset that can also be used as a method of payment

Bitcoin is also a collateral asset

Which is a fiat currency, which will have to be converted back to USD through FOREX for a US purveyor.

I'm pretty sure you agreed with one of my posts a few weeks ago when I said BTC would be shitty as a form of payment because of it's volatility vs. USD.

That is kinda what led to this new line of thought about how you can't really place a value on crypto currencies like BTC outside of fiat like the USD.

How much is your house worth in BTC? How much is the Snicker's bar?

The answer is it doesn't matter, because those items are valued in USD, and not BTC or other cryptos. The question is impossible to answer.
