So what you are saying by your logic is... Don't buy the Mona Lisa or other artwork, because it takes a bigger fool than you to buy it from you at a higher price. Don't buy growth stocks, it takes bigger fools to raise the price. Don't etc, etc, etc.
Not at all. With art works you could concievably open a gallery and charge people to look. Growth stocks are companies that have the possibility of earnings. If the earnings are there and growing the price will increase. So I would buy artwork just for the beauty and I will buy companies that have the potential to produce earnings. I will speculate in crypto knowing it has ponzi qualities and hope that I'm smart enough and fast enough to make a dollar.
