Ele.....,Let me restate my last post on confluence. I am only human and as such have this ability to make mistakes. I was reminded that confluence does affect traders and that is reflected in market chatter, but because confluence is by its nature not tick accurate, it should not be in any strategy that is tick accurate design as in this one. This one does not contain it.

Din....., The answer I posted to Ele..., was my best, true and most accurate. The market is a polymorph that constantly shape changes. This strategy must therefore have the potential to wait and observe at each and every market projection to see what market action is taking place at that tick. It can not predict the future. When it sees what it is waiting to see, it signals. How often this happens in a day depends on the number, frequency and rhythm timing of the market on any one day. I have not counted and averaged them exactly. I have no need to do so. That is why it works in all market action, weather breaking to new highs, lows or consolidating.

  3. ddav,

You present quite a compelling story...for what end I do not know why. I guess you would never share what this commercial strategy is exactly as it is rented by you and you have no right. Perhaps the developer may wish to open it up and post directly here...but why would he?

anyways...ddav you were doomed from the beginning of this thread...as you have no intention of sharing the strategy which is no fault of yours...plainly it is not yours for sharing...Frankly soliciting trading partners as you did in your previously closed thread did not fly...You can eloquently phrase your argument that you were not advertising anyway you wish, but it still does not work here.

If I were the developer I would be rather skeptical of your attempts to allow others to see, trade and learn of the strategy...when the rental fee is designed on a per person basis...

In any event...I still wish you the best and I hope you make a lot of money...and can pay your rental fee in full and profit left over also. The seasoned traders here might see through your motives and judged you rightly, but I would not be so heavy handed as they...That is why I am am moderator and they are not.

Please follow the rules here...I am begging you ...please. Do not cross any lines as they can be interpretted incorrectly and the result is that you may be banned. Don't misunderstand me...this is not a threat...we are all under the same rules here...including myself. I have posted the link to the conduct rules below for all to review.

Remember ...the head moderators and the moderator (s) assigned to this Journals forum may not agree and can take their own actions as they see fit. We all work together as a team.

  5. I cannot figure out why you guys do not trust EliteTrader. Why do you think that the presentation at EliteTrader is from some of the BEST TRADERS IN THE WORLD?

Do you realize what goes on behind the scenes here at EliteTrader?...No you don't. I personally protect the readers here from Hundreds of Spam messages....The technology here surpasses any Forum that I know of...I am just one of many moderators here.

Just go peruse the Forums readers...there is no spam here and the quality of posts...well you judge for yourselves.

Institutional professionals make EliteTrader a stopping place to read and stay current. We have some of the best economics forums and contributors in the business...

so lighten up folks...Trust the moderation team here... Naturally if a person wants to try and fool us...it will do far more damage to them than to us...This thread is proof of that. Others can read this "as you state" "indulging, ad nauseum, this self aggrandizing" discourse and learn.

rolextrader thinks I am stupid without giving me a chance..there is a method to the madness...ok I am off my soapbox.

  6. ES, I don't think you're stupid, but I recall another moderator, Tums, who apparently had no method to his madness and since I don't know you, I had to consider the possibilities.

Attached please find the last week trading objective profit report from Trade station for the strategy. It is net profit on one contract in the TF after subtraction of all commission and slippage as per Trade station. My use of the strategy has remained consistent over the last month with no losses yet. If you are interested in learning how to put together a strategy like this, then you will simply have to read the Christmas story of its birth and enjoy.[IMG]

The strategy has remained consistent and incurred no losses because the strategy is woven out of the same material as the Emperor's New Clothes.

I'm lowering the bar now: Call ONE trade in real time. Just ONE.

Here's an example of how simple it is. I see that someone has asked me for an upside target on CL (crude oil) yesterday:

    http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=178741&perpage=10&pagenumber=1353

It's trading at 90.60 at the very moment in time that I reply:

If you put on even an intraday long position right there on the spot @ 90.60 (9:15am ET), with a fixed 15-tick stop loss (that's my fixed max stop per trade) @ 90.45 and your profit target @ 91.29, you get your target (called well in advance and it took less than 20 seconds to post it) at 11:25am ET on the run up to 91.31.

OK, I know, I know, my initial target wasn't "to the exact tick", but at least it was REAL and incorporated a risk management plan.

  10. NoDoji...

We all appreciate what you are doing...but it aint happening...This is why ddav is pissing everybody off and they are crying spam spam spam...

If ddav/developer were to reveal his strategy line-by-line as a holiday gift in his Xmas story and start a real Journal...now that would be something..

but that would be right out of LaLa land...
