Ele.... If you can understand that each and every swing of the market becomes the strategies basis for its calculations, you might understand how often they are redrawn.

decent non-answer. at least it's concise and not overly verbose as most of the crap you're posting

  3. Not exaggley a non answer...I am reasonably sure ddav is trading a strategy that is measuring the recent highs and lows and placing zones dynamically...Consider that this is traded on a 5m chart... I wonder what the other time frames are on the remaining seven screens? If ddav would only share a few more bits of information, I am sure I can put this together...I am not new to trading.

I know of a strategy that matches up several TF's and draws lines.. .the lines that match up in several time zones are thicker or a different color...A confluence of lines so to speak...I have always thought that if you draw enough lines on a chart one of them will prolly work..But anyways the developer claims it is profitable...but I have not tried his indicator yet...It is for Forex and the developer is in Great Britian...I use one of his EA's that he wrote for an arbitration system that I am testing.

I appreciate that you're giving him the benefit of the doubt but I'm not. Anyone who claims that they have 0 losses due to 'perfect tick symmetry' should immediately be cast as a charlatan and treated as such.

Din...., please read my posts, before you state on this public forum what they are. In no post did I show no losses. In fact none of them contain no losses. Please read them and you might be amazed to actually see that. All objective profit reports posted contain losses along with net after commission and all slippage is subtracted by Trade station profits on an annualized basis. Yes, they are all in the range of hundreds to thousands of percent of AROR, because that is simply what this strategy has been doing during this testing period.

Ele......, no, the concept of confluence is not contained in the real market. Since it does not exist in the real market, neither does it exist in the real time strategy that is designed to follow it on the tick level and to the tick. All calculations of the strategy are to the tick and are based on the tick activity of the market. See post of yesterday, pre market of pictured yellow capping signal. This was issued by the strategy because at that exact tick and at that exact time it had calculated from market activity at that moment in time, that market activity. Then it noted it and used that information to recalculate the next swing in the market and all in real time.

Ele......, you are correct. This strategy was developed by a human. Since, one human did it, another probably with enough time, ability and luck, do it also. But what if you embarked on such a journey and ran out of time before you succeeded? Yes, even died. Would that have been a good journey? I wonder? Maybe it would be quicker to try to steel it (haven forbid) or maybe a more civil pursuit to ......(you fill in the blank), or is it that one is simply driven by ego so much to get that feather in one's cap as to waste a life? I wonder? I truly do.

If anyone still lingers doubts, please read my Christmas story and enjoy. You just might get your questions answered. That reminds me, I really should get to writing it.
