Nod..... your" recommending that ddav buy/sell at the first signal that appears and close the position when the opposite signal appears." is appreciated. It was looked at long ago and abandoned. The market does not work that way and the strategy is not saying to do as you suggest.
ddav is consistently hyping the accuracy of this method via constantly mentioning many of the above key words in most of his message posts while giving the facade that he lacks confidence in the method. This is another form of spamming and shame on you for allowing him to continue using such words in his message posts. In fact, since you're continuing to participate in this thread as a moderator... You should start DELETING such words from every one of his message posts "going forward" and you'll see how quickly his interest in this thread disappears because he'll no longer be allowed to hype those words in his message posts in a continued (predictable) spam tactic...very similar to the spam tactics from the days of the usenet, yahoo groups of the late 1990's. The clues of such is clearly shown via the constantly mentioning of the high AROR and accuracy. Mentioning it once or twice is suitable enough...to continue mentioning...it's the old usenet spamming tactic. At the minimum, his message posts going forward (as mentioned) should be edited via removing such constantly hyping of commonly used spam words along with sending him a warning message that if he continues...his thread will be closed because that's not a trade journal. This is not a trade journal. Mark
It is nice to see the market drawn by the strategy to the tick accurate precision on live charts. It amazes me that the developer was able to see this and then code it to actually work each and every swing and then to continue to recalibrate for the next swing over and over again, all by itself. Maybe it is alive and actually knows what it is doing? See picture TF.
Editing the content of posts, unless it is to scramble links...I could imagine. There is more benefit to leaving this thread the way it is if you truly want to help traders... Overall, There has been more good in this thread than bad... ES
Web...., Hyping. Interesting concept, or simply reminding some of the posters/readers here, actually what I have posted, or could it be that they simply do not read it in the first place? I wonder???? 555.23%, a test. What does that mean, quick now............ do you all have to search my posts to find the answer, or have I constantly/conveniently reminded the readers here, its meaning? Maybe what was actually being done should be labeled "generous" or "magnanimous". Maybe my posts simply were not understood by some. I wonder? Next signal on 9:05 cst bar at 768.3 B. No pretty picture at this time. You will simply have to use your imagination to view it. Yes the usual 'generous" or "magnanimous" information. It occurred real time on my real time chart as the candle formed. You are welcome.
Now...., on what page of this post did you find the answer to my question above, or do you actually know the answer to my question? No spam.
How are you defining "good"? Please provide one example where ddav has offered any useful or actionable information, at all? Ah right -- he claims he doesn't know much about trading (though he also slipped early in his posting history and said he has seen a lot of systems) or the system itself. As wrbtrader, another respected member, mentioned: there have been no trades in this journal. Note the complete absence of real time entries and exits. Only repeated spam words and charts with arrows on them, always posted after the fact. This is something I could do with ease. The only thing offered here is the enticing lure of all of your hopes and dreams come true, which, I honestly hope for your sake, does not have as powerful a draw on your psyche as it appears. That is a dangerous sentiment, particularly if you act on it with $, either in the markets or by reaching out to salesmen.
