Does anyone know if there is a test FIX engine out on the internet where you can send random orders for some symbol, and the FIX engine will give you simulated partial and full fills, etc?

  2. I highly doubt it, you could use something like XSim "Exchange Simulator" from Aegis software it might be a little costly but very simple to setup and supports many other protocols like CMS, CTCI, ouch etc..

That's very interesting. Thanks for the tip!

  5. Also, ask QuickFIX and Connamara, they are in FIX cerification / testing business and may have a test engine up and running.

You can also get a FIX test account with some brokers like VelocityFutures. They offer TT FIX Adapter connectivity.
