From what I'm reading, its all about regulations. Trump wants to deregulate everything. So for Tesla, this means putting the robotaxi on the streets and any accidents won't have to be reported and can be covered up.

The high tarrifs on EV imports will also help Tesla.

Then there was talk about how they are going to help train the AI by using remote drivers, like they operated the robots at the launch party. How this helps train I have no idea, but there is never any shortage of bullshit news that gets the fanboys excited. Once they start buying, especially the options, forcing the MM's to buy the stock, its no wonder that you get this pump.

For the record, I'm all for government efficiency and deregulation, but I have read up enough on Tesla to know they will lie and cheat and withhold critical data. I think Elon really thinks that the goal of autonomous driving is worth killing a few thousand people along the way and using paying customers as test subjects on public roads.

But hey, if this deregulation helps get the cybercab on the road sooner, and its fails spectacularly sooner, I'm all for it.

Sit down. Take a deep breath. Now check Palantir's (PLTR) sales and earnings.

Does Tesla look cheap now? :p

    ---

The story the pothead is selling is that Tesla is not a car manufacturer, but an AI powerhouse about to mass-produce (any day now, right after FSD) humanoid robots that will do all your chores while you go on vacation to Mars thanks to the other stock he's about to sell to you for a very low price, all while he "fixes" government in his spare time.

But hey, it's going up! (until it doesn't) :D

    Best trading to all

  4. At a "mere" 125x earnings, doesn't look cheap to me. :)
