Popular vote is not the majority vote.Majority vote is when more voters for you than against you.In all of Trumps elections more voters voted against him than for him. Trump is the first president since 1964 to not get the majority of the vote at least once in a 2 candidate race.Even numbskulls like Biden and Bush Jr won the majority vote at least once.
When the majority of Americans voted against Trump it can't even be said America voted for Trump imo, certainly not by a significant margin.
BTW,your own source, the fact check article you posted, stated Trump did not win the majority vote. Barry C. Burden, a professor of political science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, explained to us in a Nov. 25 email, “Trump has not won an outright majority of the popular vote; that would require surpassing the 50% threshold You have no idea what you're talking about when you posted an article to support your claim Trump won the majority vote wand the article YOU posted clearly stated Trump did not win the majority vote.
You're linking to opinion pieces, I'm linking you to facts. There are only two -well 1 really- ways to determine who won. The crazy antiquated electoral college (Trump won handily) which should be abolished for 1 person, 1 vote called the popular vote. Trump also won that one. What you're saying, that 50% of registered voters did not vote for Trump shows your total lack of understanding of what determines the outcome of an election. No one would be elected in the US based on your thinking, because in most elections 30-50% of registered voters don't vote.
It is a fact based on math Trump did not win the majority vote, not an opinion.Your own article stated so. I understand elections far more than you.And you are now moving the goal post.I never disputed who won,I disputed your assertion America voted for Trump by a significant margin.America did not vote for Trump by a significant margin, most Americans in fact voted against him.
