Lol what?? Cmon, dude are you for real? Tesla is a laughing stock in Europe especially in the media. They fail all the tests, they burn down, they crash a lot, they are horribly built, impractical, too expensive and compared to cars in the same segment, they look like a mixture of a Kia and a suppositorium.
And if you read the news, you realize that nobody wants the gigafactory over there. People are protesting against it.

Musk rescuing Germany??? I think you've watched too many movies, my friend. Sometimes I wonder where you guys get your news...FOX?

It would be so ezzzzz to label all Germans as ignorant based on MrMuppett's Tesla posts, as he is being so dismissive of Tesla's phenomenal growth from 0 cars to well over 400,000 new engineered and designed ones in about a decade and a half.

Note: I don't foresee myself buying an all electric, of any brand, anytime soon. I am very happy to continue motoring along under a gasoline powered engine vehicle. As well no thanks for an autonomous anything.

I'm not dismissive, I just point out the reality. If I was to buy a transport, I buy the fking cheapest piece of trash that gets me from A to B. If I want a toy, I get myself a nice 2 seater sports plane. So I'm not vouching for one brand or another. I'm a plane guy, not a car guy.

When it comes to Tesla, I'm talking about the reality of the cars, not the company or the CEO. And I just find it ridiculous that anyboy thinks of them as more than just disruptive....they're toys, just like any other electric car. They're not meant to be mainstream yet.

Yet there are people who think that this company has any macro influence on a country????

    Got that right - yet.

Wrong about Tesla not being disruptive.

How many manufacturers (Germany or anywhere else globally) had all electric cars on their "to-do list" any time soon in 2015? How many have all electric cars on their "to-do list" right this second?

You remind me of a Swiss guy (Stefan) I worked with more than 25 years ago. He said, at that time, you wouldn't find many European vehicles that were flashy colors like bright red/yellow/blue etc (except for high priced sports cars). Things change ... including power sources for engines.

not a fan of the cult of tesla but tough titties if they can't hack it in a capitalist system. Not our fault they put most of their eggs in the same basket (luxury vehicles). The taycan's still a better car though.

No, I am not for real, just a retail option trader.

But only history can judge if Musk is for real. There is some Howard Hughes, Jack Northrop, Steve Job, Henry Ford... in him but there is also a bit of con man too. I just hope TSLA is Hughes Aircraft or Northrop Grumman or Apple and not World Comm or Enron.

    Happy trading.

"Tesla is a laughing stock in Europe especially in the media" etc etc.

Listen I should have said earlier on that the headline was nonsense that Tesla was the reason for a possible recession in Germany.

Recessions wherever, happen because of many reasons. Simple black and white answers only work on the simple minded. Change is constant and happening faster and faster. In government and industry.

I concentrate on the change and let others worry about the why.
