Why do people get all hyped up that they would need to reserve a box on wheels...I'll never understand it. Look at the model 3 they had all these reservations and then towards the end people were erasing their name from the list. Now anyone and everyone can get them, tesla reminds me of apple, that as soon as a product comes out even though they dont need it they still want it. I also think people will reserve this metal box just to say hey I'm on the list. That's really it. If this was a toyota or nissan or range rover people would be putting the company to shame but since its tesla no matter what it is, it's the coolest thing that people want and need to have...

c'mon now...ford's dominating the game, but there's no excuse for that tesla shitbox. I still think Musk is trolling us.

Agreed on trolling, doesn't look like it would be nice to drive at all, got to be a wind up.

Possible, in a very subtitle, his own form of trolling, given the past words :

    • ,, with the Boring Company, we decided to sell hats...Yes, hats, and to see how many we could sell, even if we had no other products listed on the page. Sold everything '' (surprised smile+slightly shaking head)
    • ,,Elon don't like stupid people''
    - from the book Tesla, SpaceX, and the Quest for a Fantastic Future

There's a weird correlation in those two above,.. Just sayin...

I saw a long discussion online with people justifying the new truck for cost efficiency of the design.
The argument was that a bumper on a regular truck is made of 60 parts made by different manufacturers.
And many kids are now growing up with environmental focus where they won’t buy anything wasteful, so who knows if more cars in the future will not be more simplistic.
I thought the car was ugly, but then I saw enough people liking it, so I’m starting to assume that maybe I’m the problem.

With only 10%-15% of increase in the number of parts, one could achieve , a better, if not even more futuristic version of it.

    :D

I will stop at this point as well. Emotional intelligence is measured by, averages of how masses answers in the same question and how one is far from that answer, so if they ever come up with beauty/design intelligence, i will definitely score in the lower end bottom. Maybe you as well :D

Especially when it comes to futuristic trucks.

  7. I put up the $100 too. Anyone who doesn't think it's a cool looking car lost their soul somewhere.

  8. At first I was a little shocked, then I spent the two minutes it takes to actually research it and actually ended up liking it. Reserved...

nah, there's an argument to be said in simplicity in design to minimize waste and improve cost engineering, the problem is they went ahead and sacrificed aesthetics in the process. There's nothing wrong w/you; as L. Ron Hubbard once said: "I'd like to start a religion, that's where the money is."

for similar troll jobs, look at the flame thrower gimmick and the non-working shingle solar roof. I just don't know if the SEC would take kindly to him admitting it.

Looked into more, in a minimalist kinda way it's interesting enough, like the rear locking area ( in the UK your stuff would disapear first time you parked at any lights ), rear passenger head room looks limited and visibility out of the back also limited.

40K is the single engine, still faster than my Saab 2.0 Turbo low end version I guess.

Going to come standard bullet proof to 9mm glass ??
