And it also has nothing to do with how many cars they sell. Pretty obvious don't ya think? One of these days you'll get smart and listen. I hope. TSLA---> $329
I know the first time one of Tesla's Robotaxis crash, it will be front page news. Even though Waymo has had 700 crashes and and ubers have had thousands of crashes, nobody has ever read a story about it. But the first time it happens with Tesla, I guarantee they are going to call them robotaxis of death. Same way they do with talking about Teslas catching fire. There is pretty much a news article for ever tesla car fire that ever happened. Even though there is only a dozen or two per year, people think they catch fire more than gas powered cars which actually catch fire at the rate of about 50,000 per year.
How many deaths has Waymo. Zero AFAIK. How many has Tesla ............. this is what search says: "A website tracking Tesla-related fatalities reports 713 Tesla-related deaths, with 58 specifically attributed to Autopilot, including 2 involving FSD." Just taking the Autopilot category for instance, 58 is a hellova lot more than 0 So no they don't always make front-page news, because if they did sales would be much lower than the recent Hate Elon induced drop. Reality is calling.
Insider interview with ex-Tesla manager reveals it could soon be 'game over' for Elon Musk's Tesla: 'I don't think that there's anything he can do' https://www.yahoo.com/finance/news/insider-interview-ex-tesla-manager-004500031.html ......... "The people that he was choosing to support were the exact people we had been fighting against while trying to accelerate sustainable energy," Labrot told Hard Reset. .........
Waymo is statistically the safest method of automotive passenger transportation in the smaller auto (non-bus) segment. Safer than Uber, safer then human drivers, safer than Tesla on a per mile driven basis. Full information on Waymo safety is provided here; it is an impressive and carefully documented record. https://waymo.com/safety/impact/ BTW -- Telsa's robotaxis did not merely fail some of the safety tests. It failed ALL of the safety tests. Regularly mowing down groups of simulated children. This led to the delayed rollout in Austin.
The news for Tesla keeps getting worse. Tesla (TSLA) is sitting on so much inventory it has to take over parking lots all over the US https://electrek.co/2025/06/17/tesla-tsla-inventory-overflow-parking-lots-all-over-us/
Yes EV's are being overproduced all around the world, the difference with the Chinese though is that their sales are not drop, drop, dropping as fast as Tesla's are. Curious if Middle East turmoil causing Crude to rise - will it help EV's sales if the price hike stays throughout the rest of the year.
Huh... Chinese EV sales are dropping in 2025? Better inform the Chinese about this. Some Chinese EV car brands may have overproduced -- but sales worldwide for Chinese EVs in 2025 appear very robust. Let's start with Q1 of 2025 showing BYD vs. Tesla. "In the first quarter of 2025, BYD sold 1,000,804 EVs, while Tesla does not release monthly sales data, but their first quarter sales were around 336,700 units. BYD's sales represented a 59.8% increase compared to the same period last year, while Tesla's sales decreased compared to the previous quarter. In Europe, BYD surpassed Tesla in EV registrations for the first time in April, with BYD registering 7,231 BEVs compared to Tesla's 7,165." Let's take a look at year to date for global and Chinese EVs.
