So I'm Fortune Magazine now? Damn I posted a link without a single quote. Triggered much Christ. Guess this bit didn't catch your eye: "Matthias Schmidt, a Germany-based EV industry analyst and publisher of a monthly industry report, cautions not to read too much into the figures—at least not yet—since July and August are seasonally among the weakest as people go on holiday." Good thing there aren't any BYD fan bois here. More of them might be reality triggered too.

The home of “production hell,” in Elon’s words, it’s where a previously boutique electric car company had to teach itself how to manufacture on a mass scale, in full view of the world. Through a combination of ruthless streamlining, reducing the level of automation in some key areas, and the boss himself resorting to sleeping on the factory floor to get the log-jams sorted, the Teslas are starting to flow, and so is the profit.
TSLA is on the cusp of 260, a high reached 3x in the last 12 months. 2024 is a trader's year, dropping from 260 in January to 138 in late April, then back up to 270 in early/mid July, dropping to 185 a month later and now back to 258. Much anticipation over 10/10, an unveiling of some sort, although beware, the market usually takes these opportunities to sell days before to deflate the share price for the next phase of growth.
If it drops on or before its more likely buy the rumor sell the fact, till things settled out and market gives opinion whether 10/10 has any importance or not. Why hold if news isn't all that fantastic? One can always get back in after. Maybe higher, maybe not.
We've been trading about 25% of our TSLA holdings although most was diversified into other volatile opportunities.
